Cycle tracking that is not a separate app

Cycle apps live on their own, and training apps pretend the cycle does not exist. Putting both in one place is the entire feature.

A standalone cycle app
  • Period and phase
  • Predictions
  • On its own
In Heala
  • Period and phase
  • Beside recovery and sleep
  • Beside training load
  • Your own pattern, not a textbook
The point is not the tracking. It is that the pattern sits next to the things it moves.

What it tracks

Period days, cycle length and the phase you are in, learned from your own history rather than a textbook 28-day assumption.

It sits beside recovery, sleep, training load and appetite, so you can see how your own numbers move across a cycle instead of being told how they are supposed to.

Why that matters for training

Energy, sleep quality, resting heart rate and perceived effort all shift across a cycle, and the size of the shift is individual. An app that logs your cycle in one place and your training in another can never show you your own pattern.

Heala does not prescribe a phase-based programme — the evidence for rigid phase-based training is thinner than the internet suggests. It shows you your data and lets you decide.

Questions

Is my cycle data private?

It is stored under your account with row-level security and never shared with other users. You can export or delete it at any time.

Does it predict ovulation?

It estimates the fertile window from your logged history. It is not a contraceptive or fertility device and should not be used as one.

Do I have to use it?

No. The cycle section can stay switched off entirely.

See your plan before you download anything

The quiz is free, takes about four minutes and needs no card. It ends with your calorie target, your macros and a training week you can look at.
