Heala vs YAZIO
YAZIO is one of the better-designed food diaries in Europe, with recipes and fasting built in. This page is about what a diary alone cannot tell you.
- Food diary and macros
- Recipes and meal plans
- Fasting timer
- Strong European localisation
- Food diary and macros
- Logging by sentence or photo
- Adaptive strength programming
- Sleep, recovery and strain
- Body composition in 3D
What YAZIO gets right
Localisation. Its European food coverage and language support are better than most of the American incumbents, which matters enormously if you shop outside the US.
Recipes and fasting. Both are properly built rather than bolted on, and for someone who wants a meal plan handed to them that is a real feature.
Where Heala differs
Logging speed. A sentence or a photo rather than a search, which is the difference between logging on a bad day and not.
Scope. Training, cardio, sleep, recovery and body composition sit in the same account, so a stalled week has somewhere to be explained.
Languages. Heala runs in English, Turkish and Spanish, including the coach.
Questions
Does Heala have recipes?
It has saved meals and a food catalogue rather than a recipe library. If a curated recipe collection is what you want, YAZIO does that better.
Does Heala have a fasting timer?
No dedicated fasting timer. Meal timing is visible in the day view, but fasting is not a first-class feature.
The quiz is free, takes about four minutes and needs no card. It ends with your calorie target, your macros and a training week you can look at.
